„Try Us!”

 

Are you interested in the English programmes of the Faculty of Humanities? Are you curious about what’s it like in a classroom? Would you like to attend a course?

Come and try us!

We are happy to inform you that the Faculty of Humanities opens its doors and introduces a brand new programme called “Try Us!”. It is available for any international student attending a preparatory course at the University of Pécs.

 

What is “Try Us!”?

We offer courses for our possible future students for free and without official enrollment to the Faculty of Humanities.

If you attend a class regularly and fulfill the course requirements (receive a grade and credits at the end of a course), you will have the opportunity to ask for the recognition of the course in case you become a full-time student of the Faculty of Humanities.

Please note! Participation in the programme does not automatically result in  admission to the Faculty of Humanities.

 

What should you know about the courses?

We offer you free introductory courses which are normally recommended to our first-year students.You do not need any special background knowledge.

The courses start from 5th February 2018.

 

We offer courses from the following study programmes:

- Social Work BA

- International Relations BA

- Please find the course list attached. link

 

 

 

What should you know about the course requirements?

If you register, regular class attendance is compulsory, which means that no more than 3 missed classes are acceptable.

The exam requirements will be specified by the tutor of the course

Even if you do not meet the minimum requirements of the course you have nothing to lose!

 

What will you gain?

- You will receive an official certificate about completing the course.

- You can test yourself and improve your English.

- You will get a closer look at our study programmes and get a feel for our Faculty

- You can meet our professors.

 

How can you register for the courses?

Fill in the attached application form and send it to student.humanities@pte.hu by 12th February 2018 latest.

Please remember to sign the form – this is the proof that you have accepted the conditions of participation.

We would like to help you make a more confident choice and welcome you as our future student at the Faculty of Humanities. We believe that good decisions are based on personal experience and an insight into academic and professional challenges of our programmes.
